About the Recipe

Ingredients
For the Maple Chili Heat Glazed Salmon:
4 salmon fillets (skin on or off)
2 tbsp olive oil
2 tbsp Maple Chili Heat Blend
1 tbsp soy sauce (optional for added umami)
1/2 tsp salt
Fresh parsley or cilantro (for garnish, optional)
For the Roasted Squash
1 medium butternut squash, peeled, seeded, and cut into cubes
1 tbsp olive oil
3-4 tbsp Maple Chili Heat Blend
1/2 tsp salt
Preparation
Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
Prepare the squash:
Toss the cubed squash with olive oil, Maple Chili Heat Blend, salt, pepper, and fresh thyme (if using)
Spread evenly on a lined baking sheet and roast for 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway through, until tender and slightly caramelized.
Prepare the salmon:
In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil, Maple Chili Heat Blend, soy sauce (if using), and salt
Place the salmon fillets on a lined baking sheet, skin side down, and brush with the glaze mixture.
Roast the salmon:
Roast the salmon in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, until cooked through and easily flakes with a fork.
Optional: Broil for 1-2 minutes for a caramelized finish.
