Ingredients
Tortilla chips
1 lb ground beef or black beans / lentils
3 tbsp Taco Tango
1–2 cups shredded cheese
½ cup diced tomatoes or salsa
¼ cup red onion, finely diced
Preparation
Heat oven to 400°F (205°C).
Cook protein
Pan over medium heat, small drizzle of olive oil.
Add beef or beans.
Season with Taco Tango. Cook until fully done and well coated. Taste. Adjust if needed.
Build the nachos
Chips on a sheet pan.
Even layer of protein.
Add tomatoes, & onion.
Cover with cheese.
Bake 8–12 minutes until cheese is fully melted and bubbling.
Finish
Add cold toppings after baking.
Optional: very light dusting of Maple Chili for sweet-heat contrast.
